Carved from natural stone, its deeply fluted form gives the piece an architectural presence while keeping the silhouette clean and contemporary. The alternating ridges catch light differently throughout the day, creating changing shadows across the surface and emphasizing the natural character of the stone.
Designed to hold a candle, The Portico can also stand alone as an architectural object on a dining table, console, mantel or bedside surface. Used individually, it creates a quiet focal point; grouped in different heights, the forms begin to echo the repetition and proportion of a classical colonnade.
